About Birmingham Nail Care
Nail Care is a simple foot care service which you can purchase at reasonable cost. Nail Carers are also trained to cut finger nails.
As part of their registration process each Nail Carer is:
CRB checked, trained at NVQ Level 2, properly insured and has signed up to a contract of standards Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust
supports the:
- Registration of Nail Carers
- Work of a multi agency group of professionals who ensure effective
service development - Complaints process
- Response to general enquiries
This service has been developed in partnership with:

- Service representatives from Birmingham Older People’s Reference Group and Birmingham – Advisory Council for Older People
- Clinical Practitioners
